Funny how people still talk about the tempest that devastated England in 1987. Here in the performance poetry world, we have one in permanent residence – and it’s getting stronger by the day. We speak of Kate Tempest – a young woman who’s driven by words and is on stage because she has to be. Tonight she’ll be doing some of her own 100mph thing for us, and introducing a few artists who are clocking up their own stormforce on the London circuit.
